A Year Gone

Final exams are creeping upon us
The green leaves have reemerged
The irises are in bloom
But my spirit is not rejuvenated
It is the end of the year
And I need a break
From this perpetual juggernaut
that is called high school
nothing seems to be fun anymore
I am a car with no gasoline
running on vapors
The days grow longer
my energy supply dwindles
Summer is here
I am almost a senior

I've also reinstated my love for Phil Ochs . . . oh how i miss Galil and our crazy shira sessions. I just ain't a marching anymore. 55 days oh man.

Life's Moving Along

So I haven't really been posting so much, which is usual for me. My plants are growing well . . . perhaps too well. I am so happy though. We may have some homegrown cucumbers at Galil this summer.
SAT scores back today and I am relatively happy. They are good enough for Brown at least. Yay
The time has just been whizzing by. It is the last week of April already and it is astounding. Maybe the years go quicker as they become more and more obsolete in the scheme of a life. Hmmmm

The Blog's Beginnings

So, I decided that I have graduated from xanga . . . i created a website a while ago and i think i should use it more . . .

today was cool . . . took the train to elkins park for a peulah about being an amazing madatz kvutzah. We talked about our ideal orthodontic appliances, first madatz memories, and our way cool garden (and the overalls we will wear while being farmers). I now have 16 new children . . . eight zinnia plants and eight cucumber plants. The zinnias are named Zoey, Zane, Zachary, Zeus, Zebu, Howard Zinnia, Zenon, and Zinnia the Warrior princess. The cucumbers are named Colin, Cleo, Cuthbert, Cyan, Cyrus, Constantine, Cody, and Richard.
